
just back from our mission trip to tanzania and we missed the experience so much that we made the meal that we had the most there. it was not the same with the gracious hosts serving us and offering their food to us the way that they did. but we will have those memories with us for a very long time.
i grilled chicken quarters on the grill at 375 degree for 45 minutes while putting on some shrimp on the grill for 4 minutes.
the tomato stew was not exactly what we had in tanzania,…there must have been an oil or spice that made it magical…it was also a little sweeter than my first go at it. i’ll try it again and when i get closer to what i remember, i’ll put up the recipe.
