about me
one of my life’s dream is to live where i can have my choice of incredible foods from places all over the world (or i would settle to just live seaside). i would like to experience the rich flavors and cultures that typically only happens with world travel and a deep pocket. nevertheless, wherever i live, there are stories behind food and people behind the stories that i’m fond of, so i’m sharing food that i’ve consumed, created and dreamt about.
i’m an expert eater. my mother has many stories about me. one in particular is about me as a 4 year old boy growing up in taiwan. since we were a family that loves seafood, i was adept to eating fish at an early age, but in the old country, the fish weren’t fillet, they were whole with bones all intact. as a 4 year old i would eat a fish methodically without choking on fish bones. some would call that a child prodigy with food. i call it having a love for food at an early age.
